1. Consultation and treatment plan
The process typically starts online: you describe what you need, share any relevant photos or medical history, and a clinic reviews your case remotely before you commit to travelling.
This is also when you get a clear, itemised price for treatment, hotel and transfers — so there are no surprises once you land.
2. Travel and arrival
Once a plan is confirmed, your flights are booked independently, and your facilitator arranges the rest: airport transfer, hotel check-in, and a first appointment at the clinic — usually within a day of arrival.
A translator or case manager is normally on hand throughout, since most clinic staff communicate primarily in Turkish.
3. Treatment and recovery
How long you stay depends entirely on the procedure — some treatments are completed in a single visit of a few days, others (particularly certain dental and surgical procedures) involve a planned gap for healing before a second, shorter visit.
Your clinic will give you specific aftercare instructions before you leave — these should always take priority over any general guidance you read elsewhere.
4. Follow-up
Most reputable clinics offer remote follow-up check-ins after you're home, particularly for procedures with a longer recovery window. Confirm what follow-up is included before booking.
